El Paso Electric's service has been fully restored to all of our customers in Texas and New Mexico.  All system repairs related to the February 2-4, 2011 winter storm were completed in April.

FERC and NERC Release Task Force Report on Southwest Outages
The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and the North American Electric Reliability Corporation have released a staff report making recommendations to help prevent recurrence of rolling blackouts experienced by customers in the Southwest during the extreme cold weather the first week of Februrary 2011.
