The El Paso Electric Kalahari Research Center The El Paso Electric Kalahari Research Center is located in the middle of the new African Exhibit at the El Paso Zoo. The building includes a 3 kW solar photovoltaic array and a 2 kW wind turbine which will provide between 15 to 23 percent of the building’s electricity.
EPE and EPISD Solar Power Project The Solar Energy Project, completed in collaboration with the El Paso Independent School District, offers an opportunity to inform the community of the benefits of renewable energy applications like solar power.
