The Budget Billing Plan allows you to pay your electric bill with a scheduled amount each month. Your payment amount is calculated by taking your estimated yearly usage and dividing it by 12. To be eligible for the Budget Billing Plan, you must have a satisfactory credit history.
If you no longer meet the terms of the Budget Billing Plan, your account will be removed from the plan and become subject to normal collection and disconnection procedures.
EPE reserves the right to collect a deposit from you at the time you elect to enter into the Budget Billing Plan. The amount of the deposit will not exceed one-sixth (two months) of the estimated annual billing. EPE may keep this deposit for as long as you remain on the Budget Billing Plan. EPE will continue to pay interest on the deposit at an annual rate as established by the Commission.
