El Paso Electric (EPE) announced today the launch of the MyEPE Outage Reporting App – a new and easy way for customers to report an outage at their home or small commercial property.
The free app is available in both the Apple App and Google Play stores, and can be used in English or Spanish. The app will also provide customers with updates on the status of their outage restoration and allow them to stay connected to EPE’s social media platforms.
“Until now, our customers could only report outages through a phone call to make the report,” said Eddie Gutierrez, Vice President of Public, Government, and Customer Affairs. “Lightning, high winds, and other circumstances can sometimes interrupt electric service and if that happens, we wanted to give our customers another way to report an outage. Providing reliable electric service is a top priority at El Paso Electric, and we work non-stop until power is restored.”
To register, customers will need to use their bill account number and service address. The app provides a secure log-in to view residential properties associated with their account number. To learn more, visit www.epelectric.com
