Work will require scheduled power outage

HATCH, New Mexico – El Paso Electric (EPE) will be making improvements this Saturday, April 17 to the Hatch Substation that serves a large portion for the Village of Hatch. These improvements will allow for the substation to manage additional demand and help improve service reliability for EPE customers in Hatch. In order to safely complete all necessary work, a three-hour scheduled power outage will go into effect beginning at 12:00 a.m. this Saturday, April 17 until 3:00 a.m. The scheduled power outage will temporarily impact approximately 1,950 customers.
