El Paso Electric to Work in El Paso Airport Area

Work will require scheduled power outage impacting traffic lights along Airport Rd.

EL PASO, Texas – El Paso Electric (EPE) will be upgrading its system in the El Paso International Airport and Butterfield Trail areas to ensure reliability on Tuesday, January 12.. The scheduled outage will temporarily impact both traffic light signals and street lighting along Airport Road at the intersections of Butterfield Trial, Leigh Fisher and Airways Boulevards from 8:00 – 9:00 p.m.

Reflective stop signs will be placed at each intersection along Airport Road to help guide commuters in this area. Traffic light signals will be set back to normal service once the scheduled outage has been completed.
