Rate No. 42 - Experimental Electric Vehicle Charging Rate: Available to residential and commercial customers that have a facility dedicated solely for the charging of EV.
Rates No. 01, 03, 04, 07 Whole House/Service Electric Vehicle (“WHEV” or “WSEV”) Rate Rider Incentive Credit: Available to residential and commercial customers that have a qualifying plug-in electric vehicle that is registered with the New Mexico Motor Vehicle Division using the same address as listed on the EPE’s residential or commercial account. Qualifying accounts must provide proof of EV registration annually. The WHEV and WSEV Rate Riders provide an incentive, in the form of a credit, to energy usage during the super off‑peak hours. The WHEV and WSEV Rate Riders provide EV customers and businesses the opportunity for an incentive without the added cost for installation of a second meter which is required to take service under Rate No. 42. No additional monthly charges are tied to this rate rider. The credit will be applied to all power consumed during the super off-peak hours.

Tarifa No. 42 - Tarifa Experimental de Carga de Vehículos Eléctricos: Disponible para clientes residenciales y comerciales que cuentan con unas instalaciones dedicadas exclusivamente a la carga de vehículos eléctricos.
Tarifas No. 01, 03, 04 y 07 Crédito de Cláusula de Tarifa de Domicilio Entero/Servicio de Vehículo Eléctrico (“WHEV” o “WSEV”): Disponible para clientes residenciales y comerciales que cuentan con un vehículo eléctrico de conexión aplicable que está registrado con la División de Vehículos Motorizados del Estado de Nuevo México bajo la misma dirección con la que se encuentra registrada la cuenta residencial o comercial con EPE. Las cuentas que sean elegibles deberán presentar un comprobante de registro de vehículo eléctrico cada año. Las cláusulas de tarifa WHEV y WSEV otorgan un incentivo, en la forma de un crédito, al uso de energía durante las horas super no pico. Las cláusulas de tarifa WHEV y WSEV les otorgan a los clientes y negocios con vehículos eléctricos la oportunidad de recibir un incentivo sin el costo agregado por la instalación de un segundo medidor que se requiere para tomar servicio bajo la Tarifa No. 42. Esta cláusula de tarifa no conlleva ningún costo mensual adicional. El crédito se aplicará a toda la energía consumida durante las horas super no pico.
