Wrangler Solar Facility
In October 2011, El Paso Electric added the 48 kW Wrangler Solar Facility to its generation portfolio.  The facility utilizes Concentrated Photovoltaic (CPV) equipment provided by SolFocus.

Stanton Tower Solar Installation
In January 2012, El Paso Electric added the 31 kW Stanton Solar Installation to the roof of El Paso Electric’s Corporate Headquarters.

El Paso Community College 14 kW Solar Facility
El Paso Electric and El Paso Community College have collaborated on a solar photovoltaic system at the College's Advanced Technology Center.

Solar Power Systems at El Paso Electric Power Plants
El Paso Electric has added solar power to its Newman and Rio Grande power plants. The photovoltaic systems are expected to generate 260,000 kWh per year.

 Van Horn Solar Power Facility

The Van Horn Solar Power Facility is located at EPE’s Customer Service Office in Van Horn, Texas. The facility is a 20 kW DC photovoltaic (PV) system with an estimated annual output of 33,141 kWh.
