ROAD CLOSURE: El Paso Electric to Conduct Work for TXDOT Montana Freeway Project
Complete closure along George Dieter Drive
EL PASO, Texas – As part of Texas Department of Transportation (TXDOT) continuation of the Montana Freeway Project in east El Paso, El Paso Electric (EPE) will need to complete electrical infrastructure work south of Montana Avenue at George Dieter Drive. In order for EPE to safely conduct the necessary work in a timely manner, a complete closure along George Dieter Dr. between Montana Ave. and Turner Road will be necessary from 9:00 a.m. till 5:00 p.m. this Thursday, April 2.
CLOSURE INFORMATION
- NORTH AND SOUTHBOUND: George Dieter Dr. in both directions will be completely closed between Montana Ave. and Turner Rd.
DETOUR INFORMATION
- Traffic traveling along Montana Avenue east- or westbound may still drive past George Dieter Dr.
- Suggested detour is to utilize Lee Trevino Drive and Lee Boulevard to travel north and south, and Edgemere Boulevard if traveling east and west.
