Meet Janette!
Janette has always been drawn to art — from sketching as a child to discovering a new creative outlet through welding at El Paso Electric. She began using discarded metal scraps to craft abstract sculptures and functional pieces, turning what was once waste into meaningful art. Her passion lies in bringing joy to others through her work, especially when she sees their reactions to her one-of-a-kind creations. For Janette, it’s not just about welding — it’s about making a lasting impression through imagination and heart.
Meet Laura!
We’re excited to spotlight Laura Morris, a dedicated long-term scheduler, data engineer and passionate mentor. Beyond her role at EPE, Laura volunteers with Chicas Con Ciencia, a program at La Rodadora Museum in Ciudad Juárez that empowers girls aged 11 to 15 through science, technology, engineering, art, and math. Through interactive workshops and inspiring mentorship, Laura is helping to pave the way for the next generation of women in STEM.
Meet Huey!
We’re proud to feature Huey Miles, manager of our Las Cruces Distribution Operation Center and a dedicated employee since 1979. Beyond his decades of service, Huey gives back through the Goal Line Club at NMSU, helping provide the funding and support needed to elevate Aggie Football both on and off the field. For Huey, giving back isn’t just a choice—it’s a commitment.
