2026 New Mexico RFP
El Paso Electric Company (EPE) plans to issue a 2026 New Mexico Request for Proposals (RFP) to secure capacity resources needed to support system reliability and continued load growth within its New Mexico service territory. Resources procured through this RFP will support EPE’s system resource adequacy obligations and, where applicable, will be structured to comply with New Mexico’s Renewable Portfolio Standard and all applicable regulatory requirements.
RFP Process and Communications
All interested bidders are responsible for monitoring EPE’s RFP website for official communications, updates, clarifications, and schedule changes. EPE will post all RFP documents, notices, responses to bidder questions, and other relevant information on this website.
