Pine to Caliente 345 kV Transmission Line Project
The Project involves the construction of a new 345 kV transmission line in El Paso County, Texas. The Project will connect Pine Substation and Caliente Substation, both located east of El Paso County, Texas.
The proposed transmission line is required to maintain the reliability of the transmission system in the area.
El Paso Electric Company (EPE) filed an application with the Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUCT) to amend its Certificate of Convenience and Necessity (CCN) in order to construct this project under Docket No. 60016.
