About Newman Unit 6
Newman 6 is 228-megawatt (MW) natural gas generation unit located at the Newman Power Station in northeast El Paso, Texas.
El Paso Electric (EPE) is committed to reducing emissions and maintaining transparency regarding our operations. As part of the Air Permit Settlement Agreement (Section 3.7), we are providing quarterly emissions reports for Newman Unit 6.

Under TCEQ and EPA, Newman 6 is known as emission point SC-7.
