EP Electric to Perform Transmission Work over I-10 at Raynor Street
El Paso, Texas – As a continuation to an ongoing infrastructure upgrade project, El Paso Electric (EPE) crews will begin work on transmission lines over I-10 at North Raynor Street on Sunday, June 3, 2018, from approximately 5:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Traffic control measures will begin at 4:00 a.m.
Both eastbound and westbound lanes on I-10 at Piedras Street (Exit 21) will be closed. Traffic will be detoured onto Gateway East and Gateway West off the Piedras Street exit.
The work is needed to allow EPE crews to safely install and transfer wire onto new structures. Work on this project has been ongoing, and EPE crews have already installed the new structures prior to the closure.

- US 54 South exit ramp toward I-10 West
- Raynor St. from Alameda Ave. to Wyoming St.
- Missouri St. from Piedras St. to San Marcial St.
