Powering the Value of Family: El Paso Electric Hosts Heart Gallery's Exhibit of Children Wanting to be Adopted

EL PASO, Texas (March, 13, 2024) - El Paso Electric (EPE) is honored to announce a heartfelt collaboration with the Heart Gallery of El Paso, as they bring their poignant portrait exhibit to the lobby of EPE's headquarters in downtown El Paso. The unveiling of the powerful portraits offers a glimpse of the faces and smiles of the remarkable youngsters in our community eagerly awaiting adoption. This exhibit serves as a reminder of the urgent need for permanent homes and the crucial role each of us plays in making that a reality.

EPE has a deep-rooted commitment to making a positive impact and believes in fostering a sense of belonging and support for all residents. It is this ethos that drives EPE's collaboration with the Heart Gallery, as they aim to illuminate the smiles of waiting children and create pathways to loving homes.

"We invite our community to join us in this endeavor of love and transformation," said Kelly Tomblin, President and CEO of El Paso Electric. "Together, we can weave a tapestry of hope and belonging for every child, ensuring they have the opportunity to thrive in a loving family. We hope to raise awareness and inspire community action to support these children in finding a family that will love and support them.”

“Every child possesses unique needs and dreams,” said Valeria Contreras, Executive Director of the Heart Gallery of El Paso. “For children experiencing foster care, they need supportive families who will help meet these needs but also support their dreams. We hope the Heart Gallery of El Paso can help elevate the stories and needs of these children to connect them with prospective adoptive families in the region.”
