Road Closure: El Paso Electric To Conduct Work in South Downtown El Paso

Complete closure along East 4th Avenue between Mesa and El Paso Streets

EL PASO, Texas – El Paso Electric (EPE) will be conducting infrastructure work in south downtown El Paso requiring a complete road closure along East 4th Avenue between S. Mesa and S. El Paso Streets. Traffic control set-up will begin tomorrow, December 11 at 8:00 p.m. to Monday, December 16. EPE infrastructure work will begin at 11:00 p.m. each evening and will run through 6:00 a.m. the following day.

Road Closure Information:

  • A complete road closure in both directions along E. 4th Avenue between South Mesa and South El Paso Streets.

Suggested Detour Information:

  • North and south access along Oregon Street will be rerouted through E. 3rd Avenue and Father Rahm Avenue
  • East and west traffic can utilize Father Rahm Avenue.

Commuters are asked to respect construction barricades and be mindful of reduced speed limits.
