We are here to help customers through financial impacts the COVID-19 pandemic may incur. We are suspending service disconnections until further notice. While payments are still required, we will be working with customers on a case-by-case basis to establish any needed payment arrangements. Demand Response

El Paso Electric has launched a  three year pilot program that can scale back energy use across the grid when energy demand peaks in the hot summer months. It’s our eSmart Thermostat Program and customers with refrigerated air and Wi-Fi enabled thermostats can participate. With approximately 3,000 participating devices, the program is fully subscribed, but we hope to be able to expand the program in the future. Click below to learn more about the program.

El Paso Electric’s Renewable Energy Tariff Program enables EPE customers in New Mexico to partner with EPE in promoting the use of electric energy that is generated from renewable energy technologies such as solar, wind, geothermal, hydroelectric or biomass.
