Jessica Christianson
Vice President of Customer Experience
Jessica Christianson is Vice President of Customer Experience, where she leads enterprise-wide strategies to improve customer satisfaction, affordability, and operational efficiency for more than 400,000 customers across West Texas and Southern New Mexico. She oversees Customer Care, Billing, Energy Efficiency, and customer-facing modernization initiatives, aligning digital transformation, regulatory credibility, and service quality to support rapid regional growth.
Jessica brings deep expertise in regulated utility operations, customer strategy, large-scale program delivery, and cross-functional leadership. Her work focuses on reducing customer friction, leveraging technology to maintain flat operating costs, and using customer programs—such as transportation electrification, energy efficiency and demand management—to support system reliability and capacity needs.
Since joining EPE in 2013, Jessica has held numerous positions including Principal Scientist, Environmental Manager, and Director of Sustainability, Senior Director of Innovation, and Vice President of Business Development; leading teams focused on planning, design, and delivery of strategic growth initiatives in the areas of clean and renewable energy development, emerging technology, and beneficial electrification. She helped establish EPE’s Charitable Foundation and serves in an advisory capacity to the Foundation with oversight of corporate giving campaigns and development of community partnerships.
She has previously served as the president of the Board of Directors for the YWCA El Paso del Norte Region and remains active in non-profit leadership including current positions on the UTEP College of Engineering Advisory Board as well as the Board of the El Paso Symphony Orchestra.
She holds Master of Science degrees in Environmental Engineering and Soil Science, undergraduate degrees in Forest Science and Crop and Soil Science, and a graduate certification in public utility regulation and economics.
