El Paso Electric to Unveil Latest EV Online Shopping Tool for Customers

New Tool helps customers find best electric vehicle option

EL PASO, Texas – El Paso Electric (EPE) will officially unveil the region’s first electric vehicle (EV) online shopping tool that will be free and available to all beginning tomorrow, May 5, 2022. This tool will help empower EPE’s customers to find EVs that best fit their needs. EPE will host a media event tomorrow, May 5 at 10:30 a.m., showcasing the latest online tool, how it works, and ways it will connect customers with incentives and rebates to make this transition to cleaner transportation option affordable.

The media event will feature EPE President and CEO Kelly A. Tomblin, newly appointed EPE Vice President of Sustainability and Energy Solutions Jessica Christianson, Supervisor of Electrification Angie Rodriguez, including a full demo of how the new EV online shopping tool functions. The event will conclude with a traditional piñata bash in the shape of a gas pump. EVs will also be on display at the event.
