El Paso Times: United, Frontier begin nonstop flights from El Paso International Airport to Chicago
Two airlines began offering non-stop flights from El Paso to Chicago on Monday.
The flights, offered by United Airlines and Frontier Airlines, to Chicago O’Hare International Airport are among nearly a dozen new ones added the past three years at the growing El Paso International Airport, city officials said in a news release.
United Airlines
United will have two daily flights on an Embraer 170 aircraft on the new route with first-class seating options.
Departures from El Paso are 6:30 a.m. and 12:55 p.m., and departures from Chicago are 10 a.m. and 7:45 p.m. daily.
“The twice daily, early morning and mid-day flights, will improve connectivity and convenience for business and international travel,” Monica Lombraña, managing director of Aviation and International Bridges for the city, said in a statement.

“This added air service improves connectivity and provides travelers a budget friendly option,” said Lombraña said in a news release.
