Residential Service Rate

STANDARD RATE
Time-Of-Use Standard Rate, Texas

TIME-OF-DAY (TOD) MONTHLY RATE TARIFF

Customers that can easily reduce their energy use during On-Peak Periods; weekdays (Monday through Friday), between 12 p.m. and 6 p.m., during the summer season (June through September), to Off-Peak Periods; all other hours not covered in the On-Peak Period, can benefit from the TOD energy charge option thanks to its significantly lower price than the Standard Service Rate.

Texas Time-Of-Use

For Distributed Generation (DG) customers, the net energy metering provision will be applied by the TOD period for the billing cycle.

The TOD Rate program requires a minimum of a twelve (12) month enrollment. For the first 500 customers that enroll, if at the end of the twelve (12) month period of service under the TOD Rate program you don’t see savings over your previous year’s energy use at the Standard Service Rate, you can opt out of the program, your account will be reset to the Standard Service Rate and you will be credited the difference. So, there’s no risk to you!

The TOD Rate option has many benefits. It rewards you for adjusting when you use energy, it can help lower your bill, and it reduces our community’s peak load needs which is better for the environment.
